ജനിമൃതി തൻ സംസാരസാഗരത്തിൽ
സുഷുപ്തിയില്ആഴ്ന്ന നിൻ
സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾ ജന്മജന്മാന്തര ദുഃഖങ്ങളിൽ അമർന്നപോൾ
എന്റെ മാലാഖ ചിറകുകൾ വീശി
നിനക്ക് വെളിച്ചമേകാൻ ആയി മാത്രം
വന്നു ഞാൻ..
നിന്റെ ആകാശത്തിന്റെ നക്ഷത്ര
പ്രഭകളിലോ അധികാരത്തിന്റെ
ഇടനാഴികളിലോ ഇല്ല ഞാൻ...
എന്റെ ആകാശവും എന്റെ ഭൂമിയും എന്നെ തിരികെ വിളിക്കുന്നു..
വിടപറയുന്നു ഞാൻ
യാത്രാമൊഴികൾ ഇല്ലാതെ..
വനജ്യോത്സ്ന പൂക്കുന്ന നാളുകളിൽഏതോ
പുനർജ്ജനിക്കുവാൻ ഒരിക്കൽ കൂടി
നീ ഇൗ ഭൂമിയിൽ നിലകൊള്ളും
കാലങ്ങളോളം...

I am a firefly ,entered on your sky
In one of the forest green moonlights,
When your dreams where hibernating ,sinking into the vicious cycle of this ephemeral world.
I came to bestow lights of my angelic wings..
I exist neither in the splendour of your starry sky nor in the corridors of power..
I am a firefly came to bestow the lights of my angelic wings..
My skies and Earth calling me back
Taking a leave
Without a farewell bid.
To take rebirths in yet another forest green moonlights
As long as you exist on this earth.
